We offer effective Russian audio lessons to all speakers of English, who want to learn Russian online. All our audio lessons are recorded from A to Z in English. You can learn Russian online with our audio lessons even if English is your second language because we use simple language to explain difficult things. You also may study Russian in your native language by getting the lesson script translated with the built-in Chrome service. Learning Russian online with audio lessons in our busy world is convenient. That is, you can replay lessons as many times as you want. RUSSIAN AUDIO LESSONS
All our audio lessons are made and recorded by Russian teachers with a nearly native level of English. The dialogues in the lessons are recorded by professional voice specialists at two speeds - slow and normal. All the Russian words in lessons and dialogues come with Russian transcription and English translation so you could learn new Russian words without leaving our site. We also provide references for words that might be useful to you in on-click pop-ups. Every lesson has a script that you can read as you listen to an audio lesson. Our lessons don’t last longer than 10 minutes so you will not lose your focus, nor will you get bored. By learning Russian with our lessons you also learn the Russian culture and mentality. All our lessons offer only practical knowledge of Russian without going deep into unnecessary theory.
FREE RUSSIAN LESSONS
There are two reasons for which we offer free Russian lessons. Firstly, we want to give you the ability to evaluate the quality of our lessons. Secondly, we want you to make sure that you are motivated in learning Russian and that you can handle it. We selected a dozen lessons from different sections of the Absolute Beginner level and marked them as free, so you could make sure that you really like our lessons. All you need to do is to sign up for free Russian lessons, which will take you a couple of minutes. The only limitation that the free lessons have is the ability to add questions and comments to lessons. The option will become available after upgrading to the Absolute Beginner level. You can always find a link to the free lessons at the bottom of the site.
FOUR LEARNING LEVELS
We plan to offer 4 levels of Russian to English speakers: Absolute Beginner, Elementary, Intermediate, and Upper-Intermediate. At this stage, we offer only the Absolute Beginner lessons, while lessons of the Elementary level are in process. We will be adding the other levels one by one. We believe that we will be ahead of you in adding new lessons as you will be catching up with us in mastering the available lessons. With every level distributed among the four sections of the site - Grammar, Dialogues, Pronunciation, and Vocabulary and arranged into a common list of lessons of different sections mingled with each other, which makes learning Russian easy, less boring, and really effective. Grammar lessons represent a core of every level and provide a level-related insight into Russian grammar.
FOUR SECTIONS
Success in mastering the Russian language heavily depends on how well a learning process is organized. All our lessons are distributed among Grammar, Dialogues, Pronunciation, and Vocabulary and arranged in a special order to give a feeling of a classroom where you take grammar, vocabulary, dialogues, and pronunciation lessons one after another. With lessons of different sections coming one after another you can learn Russian easier and faster building solid comprehension and speaking skills without getting bored, for example, you may learn a piece of grammar, a dozen new words, practice their pronunciation, and then listen to dialogues to better learn how to use grammar along with new words.
OUR TECHNIQUE
We believe we use the most effective technique for teaching Russian that is built around the special nature of the Russian language and learning a foreign language online. We start with simple things and move forward by gradually adding more elements to the learning process. We do our best to make sure that you understand every little thing as you learn new subjects and words. We arranged all our lessons into clusters, where a top-level lesson is presented by a general lesson. The second level includes audio lessons detailing every aspect mentioned in the general lesson. After learning more about the subject, you will have a practice and self-test to make sure you can move forward. Every grammar lesson is backed up with vocabulary, pronunciation lessons, and dialogues.
